Is Michael Jackson still alive? Let’s see if we can unveil the truth about the “King of Pop”. People say that Michael Jackson’s death was an accident, but is that true? Michael Jackson was found dead on his home on June 25, 2009. He died of cardiac arrest due to a fatal combination of drugs given to him by his personal doctor. Today will be the day that we learn the truth about the legend himself on whether he is dead or alive.

            Michael Jackson, otherwise known as the “King of Pop” was a famous singer whose career was it its peak in the 1980s, he was the most popular entertainer in the world. (Britannica) Michael Jackson was a famous and loved entertainer for all of his life. His career started with the Jackson Five back in 1969 when Motown Records president Berry Gordon Jr. Signed the group to his record label. (1) The Jackson Five was loved by many across the world and they did everything together, until 1984 when Michael Jackson announced that he was going solo in his career. (express.co) After leaving the group Michael Jackson’s solo career took off.

            He went on to write some of the most well-known songs in the world including; Thriller, Beat it, Billie Jean, and We are the World. These songs went on to win multiple Grammys as well as giving the world the songs they love so much. (grammy) Michael Jackson was not only a singer, but he was an amazing dancer. Every time he performed on stage and in his music videos, his dance moves brought it all together. His most popular dance move is the moon walk, he performed the moonwalk during one of his concerts in 1983 while he was performing Billie Jean. (smoothradio) This one move changed the world as it became so popular that everyone started doing it for many years even today.

            Michael Jackson had made such a big impact on the world with his music that in 1984 he was nicknamed the “King of Pop”. (Brittanica) Although Michael Jackson had adopted the new nickname this wasn’t the only event that took place in 1984. This was also the year that Michael Jackson had done a Victory reunion with his brothers and it turned out to be one of the most popular concerts of that year. (1) Michael Jackson was loved by the world but in the early 1990s his reputation became seriously damaged when he was accused of molesting a 13-year-old child that he had befriended. (1) Michael Jackson’s reputation was slow to recover in the United States and suffered even more damage in 2003 when he was arrested and charged with another case of child molestation. (1) Michael Jackson’s reputation wasn’t the only thing that was suffering, all of these events lead to the financial collapse of Michael Jackson. He was then forced to sell his Neverland ranch which he was preparing for a series of concerts that he hoped would bring back his reputation. (1) Unfortunately things got even worse for Michael Jackson when in 2009 he suddenly died of cardiac arrest. They had ruled his death a homicide because of a lethal combination of drugs including sedatives, propofol, and anesthetics. (1) 

            Everyone around the world has already heard the tragic news of Michael Jackson’s death, but many people refuse to believe that the “King of Pop” is actually dead. There have been many people who claim that Michael Jackson is still alive and just chose to fake his death.

            First let’s get into the facts of Michael Jackson’s death. Michael Jackson went into cardiac arrest due to a lethal number of drugs mixed into his body. (bunow) The reason people still think that he is alive is because despite his sudden death he had a closed casket funeral. Since the funeral was closed casket, nobody saw his body and it has made a lot of people believe that his body was not in the casket at all. (4) More controversy arose later in the years when a picture of a supposed “open casket” of Michael Jackson was released. The casket however did not have the body of Michael Jackson inside of it but instead had an African American man that was dressed similarly to him, later the picture was proven to be fake but that didn’t stop the people from believing that Michael Jackson is still somewhere out there in the world.             A lot of people are left curious about whether or not Michael Jackson is alive but there was a piece of evidence that left people even more curious about the “King of Pop”. There was a coroner’s van that took Michael Jackson’s body away just like any normal coroner’s van would, but in that same video it is shown that the van pulled into a random parking lot and opened the doors letting out a man that looked just like Michael Jackson. (4) Many believe that the legend is still alive.

            While many people believe that Michael Jackson is still alive these are just rumors that people want to believe because they just can’t let go of him. They don’t want to believe he is dead and it’s for a good reason, he made such great music, and he was such an inspiration the world. When his death was announced, it was shocking to the world, some people just want to hold on to whatever hope they have that he may still be alive, but the truth is Michael Jackson has unfortunately died. He was given too many drugs to the point where it was lethal to his body, and it couldn’t handle everything that as given to him. (history)

            After Michael Jackson had died his doctor, who had prescribed him all those medicines was charged and found guilty of involuntary homicide. Contrary to popular belief the doctor did not want to harm or kill Michael Jackson, he stated that he even tried reviving him before he attempted to make a call to 911. (inews) Unfortunately the doctor was not able to make the call because of the lack of landlines in Michael Jackson’s home and he didn’t use him cellphone because he was not sure what the address was at the time. Eventually the paramedics arrived to help Michael Jackson after they had received a call from his security. (6)

            Michael Jackson made it to the hospital where they performed CPR on him for 42 minutes. They were unsuccessful in trying to bring him back to life and he was pronounced dead later that same night. (6) Later on, the rest of the world had heard this terrible news about Michael Jackson and were on complete shock about what they had just heard.

            This tragic event had caused the Jackson Family a great pain. His daughter, along with the rest of the family, couldn’t believe the news of her father passing away. She started to believe that Michael Jackson’s doctor intentionally murdered him. (bbc) Paris Jackson was interviewed by Rolling Stones about Michael Jackson’s death. She said that he would kind of give her hints that someone was out to get him. (7) Paris Jackson stated that Michael Jackson had said “They’re going to kill me one day.” During another part of the interview, she was asked if she truly believed that her father was murdered to which she responded with “Abslutely”. (7) Paris Jackson went on to talk about how her father’s death was a setup and that she had a suspicion as to who it was, however, she did not implicate Michael Jackson’s doctor in any of the accusations. (7) Paris Jackson loved her father very much and was greatly influenced by him. She said that she considers herself black because Michael Jackson would look at her and say “You’re black. Be proud of your roots.” Michael Jackson was a big part of Paris Jackson’s life, and he had a big impact on her and how she sees life. (7) 

            Paris Jackson was 11-years-old when her father passed away, on that day her nanny retrieved an African bracelet that Michael Jackson was wearing as a memento. (7) While the event of Michael Jackson’s death was very sad to hear, all this information from his daughter and everything that was told to us from the news further proves that Michael Jackson unfortunately is not alive. The conspiracy theories of him still begin alive are not true, although it would be great if the “King of Pop” was still alive, he is dead.

            Michael Jackson lived a great life and inspired many people of all ages through his music. He still to this day has many people across the world listening to his music. He may not be here on earth, but his spirit is still here, and it is shining through his music. Michael Jackson was a great person and musician. He left a big mark on the world and touched hearts all over the world. 

            While people still believe that Michael Jackson is still alive it unfortunately is a false sense of hope. The great Michael Jackson is gone but never forgotten. His music will live on forever and will be played for many more generations to come. It is sad that he is gone but it is the truth. He was a great man and an even great musician. He is resting comfortably up in Heaven watching over us as we still listen to his music and appreciate what he has done and what he has left for us. 

            Is Michael Jackson still alive? Judging from the information given it can be confirmed that Michael Jackson is not alive. He did pass away, and he did not fake his death. Michael Jackson is no longer with us but rather is looking over us in Heaven. He lived a great life and will be remembered forever.
